The Importance of Knowing School Resources - 9/28

Knowing what and where school resources are can be a huge part of a student's success in college. Some resources such as the online database can be used to further a student's knowledge or sources on a paper for example; while student services could possibly help you with scheduling issues. Each resource is important in its own way. The resource I find most useful and important to students is definitely the online database. In some many situations this can help me with papers for sources required by professors. For example some may require journal articles on abortion. This searches throughout multiple sites to find said subject and topics of that subject. It is simplistic, helpful, and free with your attendance at CF. Making the resource very important to me and many others.

9/7/2018 - Getting the Most out of Class

CF offers many resources to students who may be struggling in their classes. Here are three in-particular that I think would help a student excel. 1. Student Tutoring Students at CF can get tutoring from professors or students if needed in their classes. At the Citrus Campus, there is a room exactly for this and you can walk in at any time during select hours. I myself have not used this. 2. The Library Everyone should know about this one, it is a huge access of information. From computers to books, the library includes something for everyone needed. Printers are also here for students if they don't have home access to one. I have used this resource. 3. The Database Assicable on CF's Site, the database is almost like a virtual library. But this is great for citing articles on whatever you need. Just search up your topic and more often than not you'll receive plenty of results. I have used this countless times for research papers.
